‘World as Image’, London Southbank exhibition

Shanghai Sacred is exhibited in the 'World as Image' Ian Parry Scholarship exhibition, which includes the work of selected winners from 1989 until today. I was an award winner in 2007! The public installation opened by Sir Don McCullin, is located at More London Riverside, outside City Hall, London, SE1 from October 1-29.

Sony World Photography Award – People’s category professional shortlist

‘Smethwick Streets’ has been selected out of 230,103 images submitted from 186 countries for the people’s category of  Sony World Photography Awards. This series of portraits are part of ‘Taste of Home’ , a project commissioned by Multistory. The images will be exhibited in London from 22nd April - 8th May.

Multistory commission

I am currently working on a major commission with Multistory as part of their ambitious ‘Black Country Stories’ programme exploring migration and making home in the Terraced House. It will be published as a book next year, so watch this space!

Since 2010 Black Country Stories has attracted critically acclaimed artists such as Martin Parr, Mark Power and David Goldblatt to make stories with, for and about Black Country people’s lives.
