DESIRE LINES is a multi disciplinary project developed over two years with Professor Stephen Hoskins of the UWE Centre for Fine Print Research. The resulting kite artworks are unique large scale structures created by interweaving traditional print processes, pioneering 3D print techniques and experimentation. Constructed as curved forms inspired by ritual Guatemalan kites, their designs are the product of reworking architectural plans of recycled cityscapes through different printing techniques and materials. The project is supported by University College London and Royal Holloway University of London. UWE Gallery, Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road, Bristol. BS3 2JT
